We are Porkepic Solutions (http://www.porkepic.com), a small company developing web applications, in Montreal, Qc, Canada. Porkepic is a play on the french word for porcupine ("porc-épic"). We are just about to launch our first product C3.
We believe in building simple web software to help business improve. Most business software is too complex, too costly, requires too much training and is inflexible. We are trying to change that. Using business software should be simple and fun, as it allows you to get rid of the boring, repetitive stuff quickly.
Our website is currently only in french, but will be translated in the near future.
The first version of our application was built in collaboration with a commercial roofing company. We are targeting specialized construction contractors: plumbers, electricians, roofers, foundations, ventilations, etc.
I'd say most our potential clients are a bit behind the curve when it comes to using information technology to their full potential.
C3 is actually the letter C exponent 3, or C cube (box doesn't let me write it properly, check out our website http://www.ccubeapp.com). The 3 Cs mean: Client, Contract, Construction. This is the core feature set of the product: managing Client relationships, managing projects and Contracts and finally the planning of the work on the Construction site.
The original idea was to sort of arrange these 3 things as the 3 axis of a cube representing the client's business. Given the name, I guess a cube is sort of the "obvious" logo for the product, but I'm really really open to something more creative.
Our website http://www.ccubeapp.com is currently using a lot blue (looks more "professional"), but again I'm open to something with more punch, something that adds a bit of fun.
- Professional, but fun
- Does not have to be a cube (could just be the letters C3)
- Ideally, a small element that would hint that it`s targeted at the construction industry
- I'm open to crazy, but simple, logo ideas, that would standout
We need the final design in a vector format.
