Marysu came up with an excellent design for us. She read our brief and incorporated the little things we asked to see without being promoted. I asked for a flip Flop in a Professional design as it is something, I am known for wearing all the time. She did it in a simple and discreet way which we thought was fantastic. Our logo looks professional yet represents us as the owners too. I believe we would not have come up with such a great design had we not utilized 99 Designs.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a K to 12 School, located in Bogota, Colombia. We are an IB Word School, and we are turning 40 years this year. All our communications are focused in our stakeholders: Students, teachers, parents, Kindergartens, Universities.
The specific logo we are requesting in this contest is a 40th anniversary logo. We plan to use it for this entire academic year 2017-2018
We need the name of the school (CIEDI) on the logo and the "slogan": 40 years (with variation in Spanish 40 años).
We want to include also the dates that mark the anniversary: 1977-2017
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

The attached logo that has the school name CIEDI and the 40 years imagery forming a heart is concept developed by one of our teachers and we like it and defenitively want to follow that line. However, it needs to be properly designed and matured as the author is not a professional designer.
The logo is going to be used in our web page, the agenda, merchandising, and in our internal documents.
We are also including our traditional logo along with a special design depicting an owl (our mascot) which we are using for our 2020 strategic plan.
