We've completed our company wide research of what best represents our brand and are ready to move forward with our ideas for a logo. Our first thought was a subtle nod to Charlotte being the Queen City by fashioning the W in our call letters as the Charlotte emblem (attached). The font should be bold and stable with the W morphing into the crown being noticeable but subtle. (Call letters attached)
Taking our brand a step further, what we do is ascertain information, analyze data while considering context of that information and data to make decisions. We thought it be ideal to represent data, info and context. We started with a pond, we like the use of nature in Dogwood Financial: http://www.dogwoodwealthadvisors.com/ We thought what if our logo was a pond with the reflection of the sun creating a subtle pie chart, not overt but noticeable. Or the streaks from the sun on the pond creating a subtle line chart. We like the Enertia logo combining the E's from the title and subtly representing constant motion, that's what we're striving for. (attached)
Then we thought about the same effect but with an eye with the iris exploding streaks from the reflection from the sun doing the same effects, subtle nods to data analysis. We thought what if there were two small age lines surrounding the eyes representing the context of our work, that our client's future is encased in our decisions.
Again, we're just tossing around ideas but we're hopeful you take this imagery and create something more than we could ever envision. We're excited to see what you come up with!"
