Exemplar Trading, LLC
After 25 years on Wall Street I lost my job. I saw this as an opportunity for me to start my own thing. My professional experience has taught me the importance of corporate identity which is why I'm reaching out to you.
I am the sole proprietor of a limited liability firm that trades foreign currencies - Euros, Pound Sterling, Aussie dollars, Canadian dollars, Yen.
My target audience would be people I consider prospective investors. They are generally upper middle class to affluent individuals who are sophisticated investors and have some understanding of forex trading.
Forex trading is by nature a risky business so my goal is to develop a brand identity that is conservative but also a little edgy.
My first project is to create a logo and a font type for the company name. My preferences are modern, sans serif type fonts - angular, thin lettering. I've uploaded a couple for files with font examples I like. I like the small caps.
Logo ideas should incorporate the foreign currency symbols. Something highly stylized is what I'm looking for as just plain symbol representations might make the company look too much like a bank.
I choose the name Exemplar in part because I thought the 'Ex' combination might make for some interesting design ideas. Not a requirement just a suggestion.
Colors should be dark. There are two color example files uploaded which show deep blue and grey. Dark red would also work.
