How Jon Riemitis started their logo design journey
Crown Colony Construction
Crowny Colony Construction is a new company locaated in Central Connecticut. The name Crown Colony is meant to relate to heritage and history which included some very defining architecture and design in New England of colonial times. The principles of this firm have many decades of construction/design experience. The primary focus will be home updating projects which include window replacement, siding, roofing, additions, decks/patios, and interior rennovations as well as new construction homes. We hope to differentiate ourselves from most of our competition in the aspect of design and detail, as well as providing a wealth of information and options to our clients. That is to say, for example, that replacing windows is much more than what most remodelers will offer. We conversely, will provide a variety of approaches and products giving the pros and cons of each. In this business that approach is unique as well as having capable designers on staff.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target market is upper market who are willing to pay a bit more for quality with attention to form and function. Additionally, our market consisists of professionals who are busy and want their home improvement project to handled seamlessly. Also, this market is design oriented, that is to say, that they are looking for unique custom solutions that are also functional. It may be said that this segment could be a bit demanding, however, our team has great experience in satisfying this audience.
The logo for Crown Colony Construction needs to convey the image of high end craftmanship and architectural design. Therefore a serious rich look perhaps with bold colors such as burgundy, hunter green and navy blue may by used. Keep in mind that a crown image is NOT required, perhaps discouraged. We want to see some creative designs without a crown. The point is that our logo will convey the image of competence, experience and superior project management. The logo could be modern looking OR historical in flavor to relate to historical New England, we will consider both.
