The Landing Zone is creating an Austrian 'Landing Zone' for start-ups in the Silicon Valley, San Francisco. From two with a great idea in a bedroom to bootstrapped start-ups all the way to high-profile executives, the attraction of the West Coast is unbroken. There are many ways to explore the many facets of the Silicon Valley: The tech companies, the incubators, the investors on Sandhill Road.
Some come for a week, some for a year, some to explore, learn and go back, some to stay, all fascinated by the many synergies and the closeness of the different components and the speed of development. Some come for a week, some for a year, some to explore, learn and go back, some to stay, all fascinated by the many synergies and the closeness of the different components and the speed of development. Creating a Landing Zone for Austrian Entrepreneurs and Executives provides the beachhead and consistent presence that a short visit cannot provide. All this in an environment where a dedicated permanent presence is – not yet – economically and organizationally justifiable for a company.
Landing Zone is intended as an organizational entity for Austrian companies and entrepreneurs seeking initial or ongoing support to gain access to local resources for informational and strategic purposes with a clear economic perspective.
Goal of Landing Zone is to increase the international potential of Austrian Companies by facilitating contacts with potential partners in local markets to generate short-term and/or long-term revenue for Austria.
Landing Zone is conceived as a private effort of the Austrian Venture Capital and Corporate Finance Advisory Venionaire, based in Vienna and New York to provide an entry into the Silicon Valley.
