Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Dev Prospect is a site dedicated to helping professionals learn how to program. We surface high quality learning resources for different budgets and interests.
Target audience: Professionals who are learning to program. These people are office managers, administrative assistants, etc. They aren’t students or recent graduates - these are people who have worked for a while and want to do something different. They are self-motivated and scrappy individuals who are spending nights and weekends learning to program on their own in the hopes of getting better-paying jobs as software developers with these skills.
Meaning: Dev is short for Developer. The term “prospect” is very important in the name. It has two meanings: (1) a sports prospect - this is a person with a lot of potential who hasn’t developed into a pro but will and (2) their future outlook is good - they will be in a job field with great prospects. The company is about creating the chance for future success.
Category: This could go under both Education and Technology.

The logo is going to be used primarily on our website. It will also be incorporated into shared links on social media (facebook, twitter, etc.).
I'm flexible with these permutations in the capitalization and spacing in the name in the logo:
I'm fine with people experimenting with the letters as part of the icon but sadly I need to stay away from "dp" because of the slang meaning (first hit on google).
