Great designer to work with. Sent us two impressive designs and was quick to make the suggested changes that led to one of them winning our contest. Highly recommended.

I need a smart, hip and possibly modern, colored logo for a recording studio that is housed in an old post office. the name is "The Post Office", although the logo doesn't need to have the "The" in it. Please stay away from having these graphical elements in the logo: musical notes, music staff paper. Welcomed elements: headphones, analog tape reel (an Ampex 456), guitar, vintage microphone (like an RCA 77 or a Neumann U47 - google it).
That said, the design doesn't necessarily require ANY musical elements. I'm totally down with having a logo that is mysterious in nature and has seemingly no tie at all with music. The only requirement is that millennials think it's badass. The logo can be a cross between a "vintage" logo design and a "minimalist" design. Fully minimalist is too clean, fully vintage can be too hokey and predictable. I also like designs that creatively weave related objects into it.
Post Office related items are also welcomed, such as the mailboxes I've attached pictures of.
Also as a reference, I've attached some logos I like.
