"Good Faith" is an industry term in the law... a duty to negotiate in good faith, to bring claims and arguments in good faith, to perform work or obligations in good faith. (It does NOT have religious implication.) My law practice is about working with people to make legal situations easier for them. I do that by helping clients understand the other side and work with the facts and law as they ARE, rather than fight the other side and twist the law to fit a desired outcome. My approach is humanistic and transparent, backed by work product that reflects professional excellence.
I am looking for something that conveys legitimacy and professionalism without seeming "downtown-law-firm". I'm a solo, and don't need to make my practice appear bigger than what it is. So I want something that feels honest, not trying too hard.
PLEASE NOTE: I am not dead-set on including the slogan in the logo. I do think I want it, but am happy to review designs that don't include it. For non-US designers who may not recognize the idiom, "making a mountain out of a molehill" means to create a huge problem out of something small. My approach (reflected in my slogan) is the opposite -- I think most legal problems can be made much simpler than they initially appear, and I work with clients to avoid or eliminate the drama.
On the technical side, I am looking for a blue/gray combination (my last name is Blue, and blue conveys trust and truthfulness). I also need to have an image with elements that I can manipulate as I'm designing my own website, letterhead, business cards, marketing materials and firm templates. Appreciate your time & effort on this!
