Our team conducts pioneering research showing how land use and transportation decisions are related to physical activity, risk of obesity, and overall quality of life. We assist public health departments and metropolitan planning organizations around the country to gather local data that can be used to make decisions that will meet the housing and transportation needs of the population, while at the same time protecting or even improving health.

The logo should incorporate the acronym HERA and the expanded "Healthy Environments Research and Action". It should incorporate two symbols of the goddess Hera which we feel represent our mission - the pomegranate (for good nutrition) and the sandal (for physical activity). They can be incorporated into the acronym somehow (as long as it's still legible), or can stand alone.
We'll be starting a marketing campaign soon using this logo, and would like it to be memorable and catchy. We're excited to see what you come up with and will give as much feedback as we can!
We will use this logo on our website, our publications and in PowerPoint presentations.
