Ella designed a logo that perfectly aligned with what I envisioned, I applaud her insight to translate my vision to reality in all aspects of the design. She was thorough with extremely efficient follow through, and established a partnership to achieve my goals for the contest. I would hire her again, and recommend her work and professionalism to others.

Logo types to explore

The logo should have the main name of the site in large letters: "Injury Settlement Guide" with the following tagline in smaller font underneath or to the side: "Personal Injury Help for Non-Lawyers"
The site is not for attorneys, it is for non-lawyers who want to learn more about the personal injury claim and settlement process. I'd like to convey knowledge and authority, but also friendliness and approachability (like having a friend who is a lawyer give you advice). Obviously incorporating the themes of injury/hurt/fear and compensation would be good.
I like the logos on legalmatch.com, lawyers.com, and lawinfo.com. However I'd encourage you to try new designs and not to follow those example designs exactly. Thanks and good luck!
