Very attractive and inspiring design. Pleasant to work with.
How bailyconsulting started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
SpeakOut Schools run public speaking courses for both primary and high school students in Australia. Main age group range 10-17. The logo needs to speak not only to the kids but also the paying parent.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?

I would like the Schools part of the logo to be less dominant than the SpeakOut - it can be underneath, in a lighter simpler font for example. The eye needs to be drawn to the words SpeakOut. It is really important that the Speak is the most dominant - if the emphases falls on the Out then people may think it is to do with protests etc rather than Speaking. I would like to see a design that incorporates some sort of picture representation of someone speaking - whether it is those little radio waves or something - equally very happy for the O to be used in a visual way for example maybe using the O as a head, or a speech bubble - not sure if that would work though. Open to all ideas!!
My website is http://www.speakoutschools.com (redirects to my corporate business Baily Consutling) - just follow the link to the schools program. It is a very basic site - not terribly pretty but the info will give you an idea of what it is I do.
Finally - absolutely has to be gender neutral - nothing to girly or super masculine. Needs to be professional, appeal to students but also impress their fee paying parents.
