Whiskey was relatively light in weight and small in volume compared to beer, so it was easy to transport by wagon before the railroad arrived in the Old West. Small wooden barrels, nicknamed “hollow woods” by some Navajo Indians, were used to store and transport liquor around the frontier. I'm definitely looking for something Old West in style (both font and character). The passage above should give designers some ideas for possible imagery, but I'm definitely open to interpretation.
