What We Need
ComputerDoc needs a new logo that is simple, clean, memorable, and communicates the "doctor" theme of our company name.
Our Current Logo
It has come to our attention that we cannot continue using our current logo because it is copywritten clipart. We like the logo because of how well it ties with our company name, but, being clipart, its not terribly cool-looking. The current logo is a line-drawing of a "cartoonish, bubbly-looking" ambulance shown from the side speeding toward its destination. There are motion/dust clouds coming from the back indicating quick movement, and sound waves emitting from the siren atop the ambulance imply a prompt response that is already in process. The ambulance's side is a pale yellow with a simple, slightly dull red cross (similar to the American Red Cross) that shares the entire logos slight leaning to the right, further accenting the concept of speeding toward the scene.
We presently show this logo above the text "Your Friendly Computer Doctor" italicized in the Times font, but occasionaly omit this tagline if space is limited. We always display the logo with our company name, typically with "ComputerDoc" on one line placed over "Computer Services Inc". The text in the second line is scaled in such a way as to remain readable but also exactly as wide as "ComputerDoc" on the first line (to create a square appearance). All of the text in the company name is black except for the "Doc" in the first word which is the same dull-red color as the cross on the side of the ambulance.
"ComputerDoc" does not have a space between "Computer" and "Doc" and the D of Doc is always capitalized. There have been iterations of our logo where the entire word "DOC" is capitalized, but even in that case there is still no space prior.
ComputerDoc (full company name is "ComputerDoc Computer Services, Inc.") is a small computer service and repair company that specializes in providing personal (i.e. one-on-one) service to consumers and small businesses. We quickly respond to our client's needs, provide best-in-class service in a highly professional manner (like a doctor), and do so in a friendly manner that all of our customers find easy to relate to.
