Hi, my name is Harrison Wills. I started my business several years ago and have been dedicated to the environment my entire life. I was chosen last year by MTV to represent the Green Entrepreneurs of today. I have also done some other similar acting work. To see more about me look me up on imdb.com (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1587704/) or on youtube.
This is not your typical green business. I manufacture and retail organic mattresses and sustainably made bed frames. The beds are made of certified fair trade natural latex and covered with organic cotton and wool. I try to be as sustainable as possible with every aspect of my business. We plan to make donations with every purchase to environmental and human rights non-profits. Our goal is to provide fair prices and sell products that improve the health of people and the planet.
We are looking to really expand our company with a heartfelt and soulful logo and a clean and user friendly e-commerce website. Whoever designs our logo will also have the opportunity to design our website. It is crucial that our logo conveys our philanthropic and environmentally conscious philosophy and that it will enable us to sell more than just mattresses in the future. We want something clean, elegant, timeless, and simple that integrates elements from nature. We are excited to see some fresh designs that are completely unique and clever!
The health conscious and green community, young educated professionals and anyone who is sensitive to the chemicals in traditional beds (the elderly, pregnant mothers, parents with infants etc).
I want a logo that conveys my devotion to philanthropy and the environment. It is important that the logo not limit me to one product. I see Naturally Harrison as a household organic brand name one day. Think Toms of Maine or Seventh Generation. I want something attractive and elegant that incorporates elements from nature. I also want it to convey a story. A great example of this is the logo for Clean Conscience http://www.cleanconsciencegoods.com/. It is clean and simple but tells the story of plastic bottles being turned into recycled bags.
I had a few ideas for the logo. One was a sidewalk with a bright flower growing out of the cracks. Another was an elegant "Naturally Harrison" on a falling leaf. I am very open to other submissions. These are just ideas. Please avoid anything 3D (bc we will need to put it on business cards, website, product etc) or anything that looks similar to the example logos. Thank you!
