How roger.bruhn started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
363 Capital, LLC.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
363 Capital buys bankrupt and distressed companies as well as company assets. 363 describes the code within the federal bankruptcy code, which allows for the orderly sale of these companies. So 363 acts as "an insider's trigger" that bankruptcy attorneys and trustees will recognize. Our target audiences are bankruptcy attorneys and trustees.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Business & Consulting
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I like boldness and aggression. It features a sense of forward progress.
If I were to flow in a different direction then this would be a good representation. Why? Because the color selection is beautiful and unpredictable and the name understated. This style would be unique in our marketplace of lawyers and trustees, which, obviously, could be a betterment or a detriment.
Again, boldness. However it is so nondescript that I find that bothersome.
Keep in mind that our marketplace is tiny and can be easily described as "all attorneys in the US that specialize in the field of bankruptcy law; as well as all U.S. Trustees that operate in bankruptcy". It is also noteworthy that this is a small and tightly-held fraternity, who in many cases knows each other. So making a good impression in one transaction can easily resonate out to 10 others. So, yes, I would like to keep the logo design with the framework of the legal profession, the whimsy and colorfulness of the MEIKKI logo in my profile acts as a unique offset that could afford 363 Capital with a lot of recognition in this space. Can we meld the legal framework with whimsy, movement and color? I'm not the artist, so that's a question that only you can answer. Here is some additional collateral: This article features one of our recent bankruptcy purchases. http://www.law360.com/articles/7902…sset-sales. While I am uncommitted that 363 Capital's logo HAS TO remain in the framework of most law firms, I will offer a few of the large players that we work with regularly. Dentons is the largest law firm in the world that specializes in bankruptcy law: http://www.dentons.com/en.aspx and Adams and Reese is a firm we work with frequently: http://www.adamsandreese.com/.
