Extremely happy with the final product! Zazen was great to work with and was very willing to get our desired vision in a logo. Would recommend him.

The ethical foundations of permaculture are - Caring for the Earth, Caring for People and Fair Share of Surplus. These things guide what I do. Sufficiency is another important concept - to know how much is enough is important in designing with nature. Beyond sufficiency is abundance and that is what must be shared in a fair way. Finally this quote from Vandana Shiva should be clearly reflected in the design. "In nature's economy the currency is not money, it is LIFE!"
Inspiration for the name came from attached Dilbert cartoon which makes fun of the short term thinking of corporate capitalist enterprises. Our designs are good "for the long run". This website which seeks a balance of Conservation, Community, Culture and Commerce (the 4Cs) has many companies (and logos) that are interesting. http://www.thelongrun.com/members/v…ion-travel
