The initial design from inoxDesigns really stood out to me as creative and well-matched to what I was looking for. InoxDesigns was easy to work with, and after one minor change the new logo that I was looking for was ready to go!
How sarah.dermody started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
Health Equity and Addiction Laboratory (or Health Equity and Addiction Lab)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The logo is for a research lab at Oregon State University (hence color preferences of black, orange, and white). Other complementary colors are great too, but orange would be a central color theme. The logo would be displayed in professional contexts such as on our website, in research presentations (posters, powerpoint slides), and possibly flyers for recruiting research participants. The research that is conducted in the lab is focused on reducing and intervening with risk for addiction to cigarettes and alcohol. We also have a social justice lens with the hope of reducing health inequities related to gender and sexuality.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?

I prefer a simpler design that highlights the name of the laboratory (Health Equity and Addiction Laboratory) and the associated abbreviation (HEAL). In addition, I would also prefer that the logo contains a design that relates to the focus on health equity and/or addiction.
