How christophersnyder started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Policyology (...consider one color for "Policy" and another color for "ology" to make it easy to see and understand the word we have created. Also, please try a font which looks like a traditional dictionary entry.
What’s your company slogan?
Be smart about insurance.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Please note - I selected "Accounting and Financial" for the Industry. "Insurance" is actually our industry but it is not on your list.
Our website is "Policyology.com". It provides easy access and quick guidance for consumers to find the top online providers of insurance of all types: Life, Health, Auto, Home, Renters, Disability, Dental, Boat, RV, Motorcycle, Medicare and more. Visitors can choose from 4 or 5 of the top insurance providers for each type of insurance. It's kind of like if you go to the car dealer mall, you will find every brand of automobile from different dealers/providers all in one place. So, Policyology is like an online mall for all kinds of consumer insurance. Target audience is US residents, adults with $75,000 minimum annual household income, between the ages of 30 and 75.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Accounting & Financial
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Like the simplicity. Do not like the way the hand and dollar sign are drawn. Too wispy? I would like it better if the hand and dollar sign were very plain and more geometric.
Ignore the wording. The graphics contain some images that might work in a horizontal bar across the top of the word "Policyology". The family, a car (not jeep), house and heart grphics 4 rectangles left to right forming a "bar". This is another approach could work.
We like the sleek, simple, sophisticated style.
Professional, simple, strong, elegant.
This is our corporate logo for Spectrum Direct, the company that owns Policyology.com. It could be possible that we borrow the graphic treatment from Spectrum Direct and put the tag line underneath.
We just added a message to the group about this. Could be squared off, elongated, reversed out, etc?
We want a logo, Policyology and tagline assembled together. The logo and Policyology need to be able to be used together without the tagline.
