FundingUniverse, the #34 fastest-growing company in the United States, is looking to launch a new sub-brand website called Lendio.com. Lendio will connect qualified small business owners to banks, credit unions, and lending institutions across the United States.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
There are 2 main target audiences:
1. Small business owner: the small business owner is looking for a trusted source to help guide them through the difficult world of small business lending. They have a day job managing their business and their many responsibilities. They are looking for a trusted source to help them a) understand the best type of funding for their business, and b) connect them to multiple lending institutions to make the process smooth and efficient. This way, they don't have to approach 5-10 different lenders on their own.
The small business owner is usually between the ages of 25-50, predominantly male, and very ambitious.
2. Bank/Credit Union: The bank and/or credit union uses Lendio.com to find new customers to lend to. They are looking for a reputable/trusted source that they can feel comfortable working with. Usually, the small business loan specialist is male between the ages of 25-45.
