What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Contemporary and clean logo. The logo should be predominately the words - 'M Paul' and the words 'General Contractor'. No cartoon or animated buildings (an abstract of a 'building' or the feeling of a 'building' in the logo/font might be considered - but no cartoon buildings). We do high-end specialty work along with ground-up construction so we are not looking for a 'traditional construction logo' with thick letters and heavy imagery. We are not attracted to 'traditional' construction logos. We want to convey extreme professionalism. Construction in 2014 is built around modern software and technology - so the logo should reflect a sense of competency in the modern age. With that being said, however, success in the industry still revolves around personal service and attention - so the logo should also convey the following core values of our firm: building relationships, service, communication, professionalism, pride and extreme integrity. That could be why we seem to be attracted to fonts that reflect a more 'architectural company feel' or a 'Frank Lloyd Wright feel'. Logos that impart a feeling of modern, professional competency but also have a warm and inviting feel. Our current logo is very dated. We are not looking to 'update' the current logo but instead are looking for a very fresh look. We are interested in the possibility of a subtle separation of the letter 'M' and the word 'Paul' - whether it is with color or with a different thickness in the font or something clever or even a period - but not a line or anything too drastic because the M Paul should flow. The 'General Contractors' is important and should be able to be read easily although it could be a different color or separated from the 'M Paul' by a line or something else. I will be extremely attentive to this project and will comment on logo submissions throughout the day during the duration of the project. This project will be well managed and I will answer questions promptly and add additional input as necessary.
