I had come up with the FHR "logo" (uploaded below?), which is currently on my website (http://www.fullerhouseremodeling.com), business cards, and truck signs. I need to create more signage and thought now is the time to revisit the logo and/or branding to see if there isn't something more that could be done with it, even if just a "tweak".
Overall, I like it well enough, but had hoped that if might convey something more specifically about my business (aside from the words) without looking too cheesy or blatant, like a hammer or hand plane, etc. But I had considered something that reflected a house/home but couldn't come up with anything that wasn't just too obvious or too much of a cliche.
I like my color theme, but am not married to it. And I had played around with the font for my FHR, trying a more architectural fonts in the hopes that it might project a sense of design. But I decided that I didn't want to be perceived as an architect or designer.
So though I've been doing business as FullerHouse Remodeling, I believe I want to make a shift now to FullerHouse Construction - with perhaps a written acknowledgement that I do remodeling, additions, and new construction...
Please look at my website (address above) so you can see how my current "logo" and color theme assimilates into my site. Though I can of course entirely reconfigure my website as well, I was planning/hoping to keep it primarily in tact aside from, perhaps, an adjustment to what is currently the logo or Banner, for lack of better wording, if someone can come up with an idea I really like.
One last thing to consider: I am based just outside Boulder, CO - so the mountains are always a backdrop. I don't want to force that image or idea if it doesn't organically "fit" - especially as it's not at all alluded to in my Business name. But I thought I'd mention it in case someone has a clever idea that isn't banal...
I think that's about it.
