Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My organization will be a public charter elementary school in DC. My school has four key pillars: globally competent bilingualism (with Mandarin and Spanish language immersion), academic excellence, social justice, and whole child wellness. I was imagining a padlock and the four pillars could have a symbol that represents each of them.
For example, for social justice, it could be a fist. For academic excellence, it could be a brain or a light bulb. Those pillars would be represented in the middle of the padlock, and there could be one key positioned towards the center of the padlock with the top of the padlock open (above the center of the padlock). That's what I was thinking, but I am totally open to see the creative designs that creative designers create. The target audience is representative of students, families, community members, etc. I want the logo to look professional, but also child-friendly - if that makes sense. I imagined having a navy blue, a globish green (not too dark), and maybe two other bright colors. Not sure though - because I also like some of the simple designs I've seen.

I'm providing an example of a logo, but, of course, I want something different. This is just an example without the padlock. Also, I am open to not having a padlock. I would love to have Mandarin and Spanish included in the logo or below the logo if possible - maybe the Mandarin characters for freedom or liberation (and liberacion in Spanish) - if possible.
