Dave was a winner of my contest - a logo design for a hair care product. Working with him was easy, I felt that he really understood what I wanted my logo to be, and always created several versions of the logo during each step of the contest. He worked with me until my design was perfect and I was very happy with end result. He is a very competent, creative graphic designer.
How Tyler Cody started their logo design journey
I own small business in electrical contracting. I choose the name because it wasn't taken yet, and people will not forget it, plus it match's my sense of humour. I beleive the name alone may seem childish but combined with a professional logo could become a trusted and remembered company name.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The target audience would primarly be people I hand my business card to and that being people building homes, small developers, small business owners. Existing markets.
Because the name banana being somewhat humourus I would like the logo to have a strong, professional look. Thoughts that came to my mind were a strong looking gorilla wearing a hard hat. You could also do something with the initials B.E.,
I like the idea of a hard hat as well implying strength and saftey.
The words Residential and Commercial Construction could be put in, but not neccsary.
DO NOT PUT A BANANA IN THE LOGO, lighting or light bulb. Please stay away from the typical electrical symbols. sine wave, ect.
In no way should goofyness be implied through the logo.
I would like it to be wearable. One of those logos that don't look like a techy business logo., hopefully that doesn't contradict the professional aspect that I want.
Logos I like the coloring of billabong, hurly, roxy, surfer apparel designs. Something that I could wear and not look like a company goof. Clean lines not messy.
