The new TAG logo should be UNIQUE, ORIGINAL artwork that is SIMPLE and CLASSIC in design, with a CONTEMPORARY and WHIMSICAL feel to it. This logo will be used to brand and market all TAG materials, including http://www.TAGTalent.com, talent resumes, business cards, stationery, etc.
A one-line tagline logo is preferred (TAG). However, we are open to the use of a multiple-line tagline logo so that all of the agency name is spelled out:

The combination mark logo that you are designing would allow the easily recognizable emblem (TAG) to be used separately from the full logo ("TAG" with "The Atherton Group Talent Agency) where explanation is necessary.
We want a logo that is colorful but will translate well to a black and white version.
Our staff and our talent are made up of people from all walks of life who are very supportive of free choice in all aspects of the human condition. The owner of TAG is a free-spirit, hippie flower child with an accountant's mind. She appreciates organization, is smart, entrepreneurial, and is one of the trendsetters in her industry, yet she appreciates the feel of vintage Hollywood. Some way, somehow, the new TAG logo needs to reflect her and her vision for the company.
