Designbe was easy to work with and made necessary changes in a timely manner. I would work with them again.
How James@drivegreen started their logo design journey
WorkGreen is a New Zealand Eco-Company offering businesses the chance to compensate for their carbon emissions through tree-planting and do something positive for the environment. We believe in the importance of diverse, environmentally-relevant forestation and will ensure the planting and consistent maintaining of New Zealand native trees throughout Aotearoa (New Zealand).
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
A wide ranging audience.
We want to attract businesses that already care for the environment.
Yet we want our design to be able to attract new businesses, ones who would traditionally not choose to work with an eco-company.
The logo will be used by us and our customers to show they have joined a green programme. Accordingly, it needs to be a logo that a diverse range of businesses would want to use with their own marketing and which consumers will instantly recognise as representing a green/ eco-company.
We need a logo that will represent the heart of our business: a business balancing their carbon footprint by planting trees and helping the native eco-system and wildlife in the process.
Most importantly this image has to be very simple and yet easily recognizable as we plan to use it on a variety of media, from very small stickers to affix to a businesses vehicle, certificates, stationary and to online and larger scale branding.
In our initial brainstorming, obviously, the colour green was a central element (not just for the eco message but also for the clean, green New Zealand image) and a tree icon.
We are open to concepts as long as they are, once again, clean, simple and recognizable. Perhaps something to do with trees and a carbon footprint????
It is also important to note that many businesses may use this logo as part of their own marketing in the future, so it has to be appropriate for a wide and diverse range of large and small businesses.
