I like everything about the winning logo for Thornbriar Press -- composition, balance, framing, art. It's obvious that Hanss looked over my design brief carefully. All the elements were there. This contest was won in the first round without further changes--that's how closely the logo matched my requirements. Wow. Just wow.

CHECK OUT THE PDF TO GET A VERY CLEAR IDEA OF WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR. The samples I've uploaded show the elements I want but they're not coming together I want the logo to be one thing, not two. Stark, bold, and sophisticated. Thorns can be part of typeface if done right. I wouldn't mind seeing a single snakelike thorn branch, either.
