How TobyL started their logo design journey
Looking for a new, fresh and clean design for a re-branded web start-up. The design will be displayed throughout site as well as within marketing pages and communication programs (letterhead, business cards, etc...). This design should reflect the entire branding of the company, i.e. carry the brand identity.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The Hype is a real-time review site for what is and is not worth the hype. It is taking a fresh new approach to creating, completing and sharing reviews in real-time both online and from a mobile source. It is targeted to a universal demographic so should appeal to all, but still maintain a sense of freshness and be cutting edge. The company is re-branding its services and doing a complete overhaul of their site. The logo should reflect a fresh, modern approach to design using elements of minimalism and simplicity-Think of Apple's sleek, minimal and intuitive design sense. - *Please note* the current site design at the URL is not in anyway going to reflect the new design so steer away from color scheme or integration into this site.
-Logo icon as well as typography, The Hype, and tagline, Where you Decide.
- White with black background (just logo-icon)
- Black with with black background (just logo-icon).
- Yellow with both black/white background( with typography and tagline). *Hexidecimal- E6DE62. Also interested in seeing logo in 4A7BC3 and D67A20. The pages are designed using hues of FFFFFF to F5F5F5 with linear gradients and headers of 666666 so design should complement.- (CONCEPT)
-Depiction of hype in a visual manner-subtle abstraction/realism
-Out of the box designers-competent and sophisticated artistry for the new real-time web, bring it on!
- Web 2.0 effects unless subtle and with a fresh approach
