Erin.cassidy got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Industrial Environmental Association (or IEA) needs a new logo

Leaders of Environmental Responsibility
The Industrial Environmental Association was formed in 1983 to promote responsible, cost-effective environmental laws and regulations, facilitate environmental compliance among member companies and provide related education activities for the community at large. The IEA's evolution, however, has included an expanding role as the "voice" for manufacturing and associated companies in San Diego, not only on legislative matters but on a variety of environmental issues that affect the quality of life of businesses in the region.
Logo types to explore
Somehow the logo should communicate stability and strength. The environment is also an obvious component of the organization. Also cooperation between industry and government. The evolution of regulations and industry for the future, to be smarter stewards for business and the environment at the same time. Other description terms that we would like the logo to communicate: inclusive, partnership, conservation, cutting-edge technology Some image ideas: Business images: high-tech, solar panels, computer chip or cables, windmills (get used a lot!). Nature images: clouds, water, waves (it is San Diego after all!) I’m partial to circles, swirls, open-type designs. IEA is broken up into 5 committees: Air, Energy, Sustainability, Hazardous Materials (HazMat), and Water Our current logo is attached below- it is too bulky and outdated. We have also attached a few other logos that we like. The name must be in the logo but not necessarily the slogan.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $399.
