How Trueba.fernando started their logo design journey
I am a first year MBA student at Fuqua School of Business (Duke University). I have worked in Marketing for over 8 years for companies like Johnson & Johnson and Red Bull. My greatest passion is to practice sports (ski, soccer, running, rock climbing, kick boxing). I am 32, married.
This project is the first step to launch my start-up. I like to think out of the box and to go against the rules. I enjoy shaking things a little bit and pushing the envelop to foster creativity.
Before working in marketing I played professional soccer for over 6 years back in Mexico.
I enjoy life to the fullest. Love to spend time with my wife, travel, exercise, watch TV shows (24, Sopranos, How I met your mother, Friends, Dexter, etc)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My project is targeting the following target audiences:
Primary Target: Kids (boys and girls) between 8 and 14 years old. They love soccer. Practice 3 to 5 times per week. Play on the weekends. Are really into the sport. Like to share their "plays" with their friends. Are currently using Facebook to upload their pictures and videos.
Secondary Target: Men 28 to 35. Love soccer. Play once or twice a week. They had the dream to become real soccer stars....but failed. They play every single game as if it was the final of the World Cup. Like to make fun of their friends when they win the game.
Every soccer player in the world dreams about being the top scorer, the next "Pele" or Maradona. Only 1% get to play at the professional level. However, with Kraksfield.com, every single player will feel the experience of being famous.
This is an existing market.
About the name:
Krak: Is the way the best soccer players are called. If there is an outstanding player on the field, people would say: "he is a krak".
Field: Referring to a soccer field.
I would like an eye catchy logo. No special requirements. Be as creative as you can. The logo is intended to be used as Icon on on-line advertising. Therefore, the word Kraksfield must be separated from the logo.
Kraks are the most creative and outstanding players of the team. They are fast, skilled, smart, cool, they make the game. The logo MUST reflect this.
