Hi, we are Dorothy and Steve - entreprenuers. I am one of the experts on A&E's hit tv show, "Hoarders," and between the two of us, Steve and I own 5 companies. We are both organized, like clean lines and curves, laugh a lot and are responsible people. We will be carrying the "Chelsea Taylor" Jewelry line and it is made of Swarovski cyrstals (and all the pieces come in 19 colors)! This website will be an enormous success and hope you will join in our project.
Our target audience is women (and men who buy for women)! Because we carry over 2000 pieces of jewelry and offer all the pieces in 19 colors - women have a choice. Our target age group is boundryless - we have youthful jewels for teens and tasteful pieces for our aging grandparents too (and everything in between). Because I already have a following on Twitter & FB due to my tv show and organizing books (Chicken Soup for the Soul - How to Organize and Balance Your World) , I suspect I'll have a stronger response from women in the 25 - 65 year old age bracket. By the way, Steve and I like graduated color - particularly purple.
Dear Amazing Designer,
We do have some preferences and have listed them here. We really appreciate your efforts and look forward to your designs(s):
1. Not too sexy - even if we are "lacing women with jewels"
2. We don't want to use a magnifying glass to read the print. We request
that the print be easy to read in size and style please.
3. No cartoons
4. Feeling of Julia Roberts receiving a luscious and sparkely necklace from Richard Gere near the awaiting helicopter (Pretty Woman) is an ideal image in my mind - or the image of Leonardo DiCaprio bowing to Kate Winslett - both dressed to the nines on the romantic staircase (Titanic) comes to mind too.
Well, you decide. Can't wait to see what you've got! Oh and to see the various jewelry pieces we'll be carrying, you can visit: http://www.ChelseaTaylor.com. Our website will be totally different - but at least you can get a sense of the product. We do like the opening page of http://www.HarryWinston.com if that helps........
All the best to you,
Dorothy & Steve
