npgroup got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for action sports portal
Check out npgroup's Logo design contest…
We need a logo to fit into an existing website. Must be portable across other mediums for it to be a winner.
What's your vision?
Tagline: None Desired Color Scheme: Must match site as it exists now. Desired Style: It must make sense on the site. If you wanted to show us the logo on the page, that works too. Accepted File Formats: Jpg, eps, psd The logo must use a color scheme and feature details that will fit into this design: www.go211.com Go211 means "Going to eleven". This means, pushing the envelope and going even further than 10 on a scale of 1-10. We need people to understand that the name is GO TO ELEVEN. Not, go 211. So the winning design must accomplish this task. The site cannot be changed so make sure that it fits proportionately into the assigned area! Despite all the grays and neutral colors, seeing more color wouldn't be a bad thing.
