Im a former German paratrooper and have been working for the last 5 years as a private security contractor in Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa. My specialty is Emergency Medical Care in hostile and remote environments. I am starting a company which will provide training courses (firearms, tactics, medical) and will include a Crossfit box and a martial arts dojo (Bujinkan). I played American Football for 10 years, did martial arts for 15 years, lifted weights for 20 years and have a MSc in Psychology. I love Fantasy Role Playing Games and eat Paleo.
Anyone working in high risk environments, adventurers, warriors, special forces operators as well as companies looking for professional services to support their projects in hostile environments.
The logo should appeal to the military/warrior community but also to major companies looking for a professional service provider.
Read http://archangel.at/blog/neue-seite-1/archangel/ that will explain the Symbolism of the "Archangel". You can also see the current "logo" on the top left. The new logo should include a sword and 2 wings and the script "Archangel". Main color should be maroon/bordeaux red (paratrooper beret color), additional colors should be white and black. Red white and black were also the colors in the old German War Standard. The wings on the old logo were taken 1:1 from a Warhammer 40.000 Blood Angels Banner. I liked the stylized wings which give it a rather warlike feeling which fluffy white dove wings just wouldnt. Be creative with the wings and the sword :) The Logo needs to be aggressive, something that would fit a Combat Search and Rescue Medic. These guys fly into hot LZs, ready to take on anyone necessary in order to extract the casualties. At the same time it should not be too cluttered with detail so that it could be put on a unit patch and would be clearly recognizable. Military unit patches/badges are a good orientation point for the design I would like, but Im open to any suggestion as long as it fits the companys "spirit". I have no clue as to the "format" of the logo, but something where I could make minor changes to would be great (like a version where the layers are still unmerged). I added a picture of a Griffon knight from the Rackham Confrontation game that might give some additional ideas as to colors, shapes and feeling.
