How GameAttain started their logo design journey
We're a new start-up building a social discovery engine to help consumers find new games to play.
GameAttain will initially be a Facebook, then iPhone app designed to help the casual and serious gamer in finding recommendations, reviews and information base on their gaming interest. Essentially we're developing an intelligent recommendation application customized to the individual gamer.
The purpose of GameAttain is to make it easier for gamers to find information and recommendations based on their gaming interests.
We thrive off intelligence and the game culture - we're fun, creative and really smart.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our audience is gamers of all shapes and sizes, from console games (Playstation, WII, Xbox) to MMOGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Games) and casual games such as PopCap and Zynga.
Our desired audience are repeat game buyers. They are looking for the next hot game, anticipating the newest releases. They're collectors, enjoy competition and like to show off their achievements. Essentially, they are game connoisseurs.
We are looking for a logo for our product to be featured in our Facebook and iPhone applications and website. It's the name but also something that can be made into an icon and featured on business cards and promotional materials. You will be branding GameAttain. We like a name that has something iconic about it that can be a logo in itself...like Nike and the swoosh.
We're open on colors, but we prefer simple, bold colors that fit the gamer culture. It should be clean (uncluttered) and easily identifiable. We like western cell-shaded comic book style but not the eastern anime style.
