LOGO Contest - Smart, modern, creative logo needed - $125

‘Smartboard’ is a company that will deal with the sale of advertising on indoor/outdoor LED display signs (LED billboards) as well as hiring LED displays for events, concerts etc. Have look on Google for “LED outdoor display” to see some examples (barco.com is a good example of a manufacturer). LED displays are used in Times Square, NY and Piccadilly Circus, London. The domain will be smartboard.tv.

Desired Color Scheme:
We prefer solid colours and you are free to use any combination you want, except purple.

Desired Style:
The logo would feature the name all caps “SMARTBOARD” or all lowercase “smartboard” with a graphic.

The graphic can be integrated with the name or come out of the name. Some straight forward ideas would be half a board stopping at the D or dots as

The deliverable is the logo in vector format (Adobe Illustrator preferred), i) with all text converted to curves, ii) original as it is with text as text.
You will be required to sign a release of all rights of the logo to us.

The graphic can be integrated with the name or come out of the name. Some straight forward ideas would be half a board stopping at the D or dots as the ones in the LED but its all up to you artistic creativity. LED displays can show full motion video hence providing advertisers with a more engaging media than normal/static billboards, so you could use this as an idea i.e. promoting the idea of an engaging medium.

The design must be clean, professional, modern and somewhat contemporary. We prefer sans-serif font.

Colours. We prefer solid colours and you are free to use any combination you want except purple.

The contest will run for two weeks however if we see something we like a lot we may end the contest early thus saving the rest from unnecessary trouble. We will run the contest for a minimum of five days until Friday the 2nd so that everyone has time to submit their designs.

I will post regular feedback for everyone.

Payment of $125 will be made upon signing of the rights release. The delivery of the files should follow.
