Brief Summary To create and design the company logo for use on all associated marketing materials and communications platforms including: Highest priority is for the Web site and Mobile App (iPhone/Android). Next highest priority is the business card. Would be nice Business Plan; Press releases; advertising collateral, etc. Brand Name CrateAway Company Description We are the convenient and affordable storage solution for your physical goods, 1 box at a time. We provide reusable crates for packing, pick up and delivery services a part of our secure storage solution. All at a low monthly flat fee. Other ways to think of our service; “On-demand storage for physical goods.”, “Extended closet with a catalogue of goods.” See www.crateaway.com for more information. Description - Objectives: To develop and design a likeable and attractive logo in keeping with the CrateAway vision, objectives, and values and the ideals and needs of the target market. - Target Market: Urban/City residents. Generally the 18-40 year old, however aim for the 25-35 crowd. Segmentation Strategy: By property type. Residents of large high-rise apartment/condos. Very similar to Zip Car crowd. - Communication: Mobile App and Website are the primary channel of communication. The logo should be primarily designed with Mobile and Web as highest priority. - Branding Cues: The design should be in tune with “young professional, “ modern, simple and straight-forward. The design should be fun, maybe to the point of extroverted. It should display a hint of whimsy, but not over the top obnoxious. People should be able to look at it and immediately grasp that we provide storage solutions. Design: - Colors and Scheme – We are not set on a specific color scheme, but hope to imply trust, vividness, creativity and uniqueness – perhaps a blue, orange, or even purple. Please do not use shades that are too dark. Use white (or a very feint version of the primary color) as accents/background.- Branding around the company will be built around our Crate (http://www.crateaway.com/img/assets/crateAwayMVP.png, a picture is also included as separate file). Ideally the crate (either a picture of one or a stylized version of one) will be incorporated in. Do not use imagery of a cardboard box. Examples: We really like the Amazon Mobile app logo for iOS (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ama…06951?mt=8) because it incorporates a classy yet cartoonish and immediately recognizable shopping cart. If we could do that with a Crate, that would be ideal. Wants No other words should be used aside from CrateAway, Do not use an abbreviation (e.g. CA) Be as imaginative as you dare, but the design should fit with our target market (Urban, Young, Professional, Modern, Simple, Clean, Trusted, and Straight-forward) Please provide the JPEG, PNG, PSD of the file Designs should be based on two colors. Don't Wants Low quality images (App usage will require retina display quality images) Extremely traditional designs Cardboard boxes or anything that looks like a cardboard box.
