Geomares Publishing is an international publishing house with market leading business-to-business publications in the fields of geomatics, hydrography, oceanography, spill prevention and response and water management. Geomares publishes magazines in print as well as websites.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
With the website spill-international.com we are targeting the international community of professionals working with authorities, ngo's, oil companies and oil spill clean up companies who need to be informed on new techniques to prevent and respond to oil spill (and spills with possible other chemicals), professionals with a heart for the environment and a technical attitude.
The logo we are looking for needs to have a business-to-business look and feel, it could carry the name Spill International together with the design symbolising green environments (sea but also land) threathened by spills. It needs to be easy recognisable, strong and smooth, easy to print and carry something that says; okay, I know what this about. It will need to possible to print the colour logo in b/w as well without loosing strength. Primarily it will be used on the web, we will put in print every now and then as well. Don't come up with the inevitable oil drop, be creative, we don't like shades to much. It should be somewhat square or round, so it will still stay strong also in Twitter or a LinkedIn group account. The colours of the logo are basic colours for the website.
