Matbishop got their new logo design by running a design contest:

Food & Drink
We are a restaurant and lounge offering Pan-Asian/Fusion cuisine, specialty cocktails, wine, and craft beer. We have live DJ's on weekend nights. We are a small neighborhood establishment, providing a fun, warm, inviting, women friendly environment. Jinx is a great place to go for happy hour with friends after work, on a date, or out with friends in the late evening for drinks. Target audience are females and couples age 25-55, professionals or local area residents.
Logo types to explore
We are new owners that purchased the restaurant 2 months ago. We are trying to create a new brand/image/reputation but keeping the same name. We have cleaned up, freshened and lightened the decor, and evolved the menu from purely Thai offerings to a Pan-Asian menu. We have both classic and modern fusion asian dishes.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $399.

99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
