Social Media Background Check
I'm a digital marketing consultant by day and internet/software entrepreneur by night. Each year more employers are researching potential job candidates online. Our company has developed a process, through software and human editing, to provide employers a background check that includes information found online about a job candidate as well as the traditional background check items (i.e. criminal history, sex offender status, etc.). Our report is more comprehensive than if employers conducted the search themselves and filters the most important information needed for a hiring decision so employers don't have to scan through several web pages or search results to find relevant information.
We're a young, fast moving company that has built a very powerful software and a well thought out operational process to provide the most accurate results, comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and provide job candidates the opportunity to use information found online about them as a positive influence on their job search.
Primary: Hiring Personnel (human resources and functional managers)
Secondary: Strategic Partners (Large traditional background check companies, Human Resources Outsourcing companies, and enterprise software companies)
Tertiary: Potential Job Candidates (Individuals)
Please include the name in the logo design and a brand mark or icon that can be used on the website, business cards, etc and still be recognized.
Our company is bringing a fresh perspective to an industry that hasn't seen innovation in a long time. We allow hiring personnel to go beyond the resume and static background check reports to access dynamic, relevant information about their job candidate. We'd like our corporate identity to have a 'new' and 'fresh' feeling. At the same time we need to communicate credibility and strength to a skeptical customer base.
http://www.intelius.com/ We like the colors and the strong typeface of "intelius." The brand icon looks nice, but doesn't seem to hold too much meaning.

Attributes of our logo:
There are no color requirements, but we are leaning towards using blue and brown. (see http://bit.ly/1XAX9p for an example color palette). Blue trustworthiness, loyalty, and stability while brown is solid and reliable. However, brown may make us seem too dull so we're open to your creative expertise.
Please no 'social media' stock imagery. We would like to see your original ideas.
