jeube got their new logo design by running a design contest:
New logo for existing web company
Check out jeube's Logo design contest…
We need a new logo that will replace our current logo.
What's your vision?
Tagline: internet solutions Desired Color Scheme: Current logo or greens orange or whatever you think is best Desired Style: Clean, stylish, creative typography Accepted File Formats: Illustrator vector and Photoshop layered PSD We are looking for a clean professional logo with a bit of web 2.0 style (not too much 2.0 though since they all look similar). CompuBase is a internet solutions company. We provide one-stop shopping internet solutions. Our current logo can be seen on www.compubase.nl. This logo is outdated and needs to be replaced with a new logo. The new logo does not need to fit in the current webdesign (we will design a new site later). You might use the current color but feel free to change it to whatever you think is appropriate. It would be nice if there is some relation with the current logo but it is not a strict requirement. The brandname is Compubase but feel free to change the capitalization (i.e. compubase is fine too). The subtitle is internet solutions. We might want to to ask you for future designs for our customers. Thanks for your contributions.

And then… they selected a winner!
I enjoyed very much working with Jun. His ideas were very creative. He is talented. You spot it immediately between many others. His design has the art element in it, you actually feel something when you look at it.
Not only that. He is hard worker and easy for communication. He took all my ideas for changes and updates and reacted quickly. Also offered me help if I need it later, which means to me, as I am doing this for the first time and I feel insecure.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
