Great work at reasonable price. I am really happy with final designs. I definitely work with this designer in the future.
How Edworboys started their logo design journey
The company helps students find accommodation in London. We are unique in the sense we only target students and that we are an online brand (no physical offices / shopfronts, although we do meet our clients in person) We essentially offer a concierge service where we will find properties based on a students requirements, then help them through the process by providing advice, taking them on viewings and assisting them with paperwork. The service is free to students and our revenue comes from the owners/agents of the properties we let.
Being recent graduates ourselves, the company’s core strengths lie with our understanding of the challenges students face. Being on the same page as the student allows us to provide an unparalleled service and our brand needs to embody this and express it to the fullest.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Primary audience: University Students age 18-26
Secondary audience: High School students age 16-18
While we are based in London, our our applicants come from all over the world. In fact, out service appeals especially to overseas students.
Being a brand new concept, we are looking for brand new ideas. We would like to stand out from the crowded property lettings arena (but not too much).
Our competition are normal estate agents and lettings agents, and lots of them. We want to be different enough to capture the imagination of the students we are targeting, but need to keep in mind the reaction of property owners & landlords that we will also have advertise to. After all, this where our money comes from. So to summarise, target the youngsters, but keep a professional feel.
So with that in mind we are looking for a cool, edgy design that incorporates the student of today and London’s atmosphere. It needs to portray a degree of professionalism but with a youthful and friendly appeal.
Feel free to experiment with colours.
*We would ideally like versions of the logo with and without the .co.uk*
