Clients who love us and prospects who will. We prefer working with owner-operator clients, but will go bigger when it makes sense. Our active categories have included: automotive retail, home after-market materials and services, lawn & garden, general retail, and business-to-business.
I'm looking for a mark. Something to provide visual ID to everything we do. It's possible it might take a logo and a derivative mark. That works for us. The voice is confident and creative; rich in wisdom, but daring. We are NOT sleek and modern looking. Nor are we web-centric. It's all about creating a message and using the appropriate tools.
Applications for the logo (and mark if it make sense): letterhead, online, video, collateral. It needs to look good big. It also needs to read well when small (such as when used as a lower-third bug in video). That means it needs video and web-safe colors. (We'll need RGB and CMYK versions)
Prefer warm colors evoking a storied past and an ever-unfolding future. Think old charts and compasses. Think leather-bound books. Authentic. Trustworthy. Timeless.
Do NOT think decorative fonts, embossed or extruded type. Avoid overly complicated logos/marks that won't reduce well. Sometimes we'll use it tiny; other times will be will the side of a building. Really.
Deliverables of selected design will need to be delivered in both RGB and CMYK, jpeg, tiff, and gif formats.
