ulfattah has a great talent and deeply helped us to find a logo that matches our needs. Good reactivity and good listener, if you have a bit of a feeling for one design, you will be able to discuss and improve it.

Materiality Labs is a one-person software development LLC in San Francisco, CA. It's not a big commercial venture - it's just the legal entity under which I develop a couple of hobby website projects. Nonetheless, as it's the public face of the developer of those websites, and therefore will have a web page, a twitter account, etc., it needs a logo.

The name "Materiality" is intended to convey that I develop things that are "material", both in the sense of "things that aren't frivolous" and of "things that are relevant in the real (material) world".
For example, my two current projects are 1) A service that helps you bulk-delete old tweets that might come back to haunt you, and 2) An interactive airline route map that lets you explore the global flight database.
So I'm interested in making things that are useful in some way, rather than yet-another-social-media-thing.
Therefore I'd prefer designs that somehow capture a little bit of both senses of "materiality", i.e., things that are "useful in the real world".
