How jcopus started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
PunchClock LLC (please note flexibility in capitalization - will also accept PUNCHCLOCK LLC, PUNCHCLOCK llc, etc. but 'PUNCHCLOCK' must be one-word and no comma b/t company name and 'LLC')
What’s your company slogan?
Would accept 'LLC' as a subscript to the logo. It does not necessarily need to be included in the company name.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
PunchClock LLC is a consulting firm that works with governments, non-profits, tech companies, and everyday people to help them navigate the changing world of work.
The name PunchClock is partly ironic. As our understanding and expectations of work and jobs evolve, people are becoming less and less interested in punching in and out of an office in the traditional sense. They are interested in more flexible work, that gives them purpose - they're looking to be clocked in 24/7/365 on the aspects of their life that provide meaning, fulfillment, and income.
PunchClock embraces this new notion of work, instills it in its clientele, and recruits for it in its project partners and consultants.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Business & Consulting
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I like the color scheme of this logo. I also like the clever use of the 'thought bubble' as a background to portray the 'emotion' aspect.
I like this mainly because it manages to be playful and modern, but still seems highly stylized and professional.
I like this because it so literally represents the name of the company, but does so in a subtle/thematic way. A successful design for my firm would incorporate the concept of a 'punchclock' without being too literal.
I like this logo because of the clever incorporation of the hound. This is a bit too sophisticated for me though. I'm looking for something more playful.
I like everything about this logo. This is probably my favorite of the bunch. Embodies both 'dreaming' and the 'lab' concept with the beaker.
I like the color scheme here. I'm drawn to blues and purples for my logo. I also am partial to hues of green - particularly bright, neon green.
Ideally, I'm looking for a logo that is both playful and modern in style, but also incorporates the old-timey concept of a physical punch clock, time sheet, etc. I'm open to both very literal interpretations of these concepts or more subtle, metaphorical interpretations.
