InnovationGuard is a cutting edge insurance and risk management program for technology companies of all kinds. Insurance is perceived as a boring, time consuming, old fashioned wasted of money that you HAVE to deal with. Because of this companies end up buying the wrong policies, paying too much and spending too much time dealing with it - and not working on growing their own business. InnovationGuard is trying to change that by streamlining the process, providing simple online applications and prepackaged end to end solutions - allowing tech execs to get the best possible insurance program from specialists in their field. We work with more than 100 of the World's best tech companies that range from venture backed startups to multinational publicly traded mature comapnies. And that was before we even had a web presence or brand! InnovationGuard is supported by a blog which provides info and resources in a fun, interactive environment. InnovationGuard is a subsidiary of a 100 year old insurance agency called Rollins Insurance. As a boutique firm, sometimes our larger competitors will say that we are too small to work with large companies - we are not too small! And we want our image to reflect that. Check out http://www.InnovationGuard.com for more info. Our mother ship is at http://www.rollinsinsurance.com
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our audience is Technology companies of all sizes, types and stages.....including web 2.0/digital media, software developers, game developers, telecom, hardware mfg, life sciences, e-commerce, etc Generally we work with founders of companies as well as C level executives. Sometimes our point of contact is a Finance or HR director. We also work with many VCs and even handle a national program for their trade association. VC's often recommend us to their portfolio companies.
We want to appeal to Tech companies as if we are one of them - we want our logo to look like a technology company's logo might look. Since the concept is that we "guard innovation" maybe a brick wall, or knight in armor?....something that represents protection of their innovations or ideas or cutting edge tech prods/services? A tech company might identify with a firewall? We are counting on your creativity!!! We do not use a tag line but if you come up with something that captures our message and want to incorporate that - great! The colors on our blog now can be changed so the logo does NOT have to match the blog. (BTW - we may ask the same designer for help with a blog template, twitter background, etc.) We would even consider a "badge" type of logo similar to what facebook, twitter, rss, etc use. Or maybe one that could be used in conjunction with the logo. Above all - nothing boring!!!!
Logo must be provided to us in an EPS or any sort of Vector format.
