LSI Portsmouth is an English Language School in Portsmouth - one of
the leading language schools in the UK, established in 1985. Students
aged 18+ come to the school from all over the world to learn English.
We offer General English courses where the average age of students is
23 (generally young men and women straight out of school/university)
and also Executive courses for business men and women where the
average age is 35 and course is more serious - the logo must be
suitable and appeal to both of these demographics.
We use agencies all over the world to help recruit our students, and
students can also apply to us directly. We deal with students from 30
different countries, mainly from the Middle-East, Asia, Europe and

Logo types to explore

We would like to avoid the use of a globe image as many other language
schools use this. We would also like to avoid using the Spinnaker
tower which is the iconic structure of Portsmouth as one of our local
competitors use this. We would also like to avoid using speech marks
as again, many other language schools use these.
We would like to be able to use the logo in a portrait and landscape
way - 2 examples of what we use now I have attached.
As Portsmouth is a seaside location, maybe think about incorporating
sea, sails, boats? That sort of thing perhaps?
