How Kimberly Kay started their logo design journey
Kimberly Kay Photography
I am a full time wedding photographer. My style is mostly shooting outdoors in available light situations with a style that is relaxed, natural, earthy organic, romantic and timeless.

My target is the NW bridal market mainly focused on venues that are with in Central Oregon and urban Portland and Seattle WA, along the coastal areas.
This is my first time at this so I hope it makes sense. Please take a look at my current logo and work to get an idea of my style of photography. http://www.kkayphoto.com I really want to keep the same color concept. Chocolate brown, mustard yellow, and mossy color green, ivory could be added as well. I love those retro 70's colors. I also really love the idea of dots like I have. My current dot logo reminds me of a lens and I'd like the dots to look similar to replicate the circular motion of a lens focusing. Something round, yet I love the retro sort of bright vintage look to things. I have no idea on a font... but would love something that looks much more clean, professional and fits the dot style I'm after. Keeping it simple with the dot concept and font.
Id like the logo in vector format and on a translucent back ground so I can drag and drop the logo onto any color back ground I would like... such as over photos, brochures web page etc. As well as resize it at any size without distortion.
The colors I would like to use are:
