Great designer and detail oriented with any necessary changes. Was willing to give us multiple designs before we finally agreed on one. Great designer!
How Fabrice.meuwissen started their logo design journey
I set up a new company which will produce software application ( for windows ), first app will be "light image resizer", another app is "Salmon email tracking for Outlook", another product is "Send to My Cloud" to get offline reading of URL you can bookmark on your computer and share on mobile.
so the company name is still "generic"
I m the co-founder of VSO-Software, and I will mount this company from some of the products I wasn't able to finish. The products will be available for a few millions of users because of the huge network of contacts I have from my past experience in the software catalog market.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
End-users, geek, lazy users, beginning which wants easy app / specific task program to be used.
I m thinking about a logo with a bulblight + exclamation mark. To avoid the overused round bulb shape, I thought the bulblight could look a little bit squary ( but still with soft rounded corners ). see pictures you can use here to get a suggested shape : http://min.us/mv05EU
I prefer to have it almost vertically oriented, to make it straight as the exclamation mark. I don't have any requirement about colors. If you want to rotate it, don't do it by a lot of degree ( 15° ) to keep it straight and the default position of a bulblight.
I recommend a font like Petita in bold ( http://www.dafont.com/petita.font ) for the company name text. ( rounded font, but still with some sharp corners like in the b letter )
I also think the base metal tip of the bulb could look like a half circle, to make think ( but without obvious design such as Amazon ) to be a mouth / smile. make happyness felt by users without they realize it.
I suggest to look at my suggestion in the top link, I m just unable to make them with illustrator, but they are good guideline among what I would prefer. Of course, you are free to suggest the killing idea.
if you need more inspiration, I found only that link with a contest / review of lightbulb logos : http://buildinternet.com/2009/04/27…ulb-logos/
