How Julia Kennedy started their logo design journey
Summit Series for Families 2009
This is a new company that will be hosting authors, experts and educators in a series of live teleconferences and webinars aimed at spotlighting different parenting/teaching and learning styles. The goal of the seminars is to foster open communication between parents and experts and even teens, when the subject matter is appropriate.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target is both the educator/author/speaker and the parenting community. Our topics will range from issues that impact elementary-school children all the way up to teens. We cater to parents who are open to hearing new ideas and looking for online conversation around ideas, parenting books and educational issues.
Each year, the logo will change. For instance, SummitSeries2009.com is this year's website but that web address will point to SummitSeries 2010 starting in January. I don't have any preferences right now on colors or styles. We'll be dealing with issues that pertain to both boys and girls so I want the logo to be gender-neutral.
