Very happy with the logo that Gerilya designed for us. He was very quick to make change requests and eventually sold us on his own creative idea, not based on our feedback.
How E.zukiwski started their logo design journey
We are looking for a logo for our renewable energy co-operative. We are developing a community-owned solar co-operative and will be selling shares to raise money for the project. This is among the first of its kind in our area, and is when it gets off the ground there will be a lot of public relations involved. We would like a logo that represents green/renewable energy, solar power, incorporates the sun or sunlight rays and portrays a warm feeling.
Be creative! You could incorporate a rooftop, or green leaves, power/energy symbols or include solar panel imagery.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Potential members/investors of the co-operative will be well educated, relatively affluent, between the ages of thirty and fifty-five and sixty percent female/forty percent male. These individuals would have values that lead them to live in a socially and environmentally responsible manner and includes the tendency to donate to charity, work in ‘caring’ industries like teaching and health care and be affiliated with a religious organization.
The logo will be used on our web site, business cards, press releases, all future brochures, pamphlets, etc. We will need the template to reproduce the logo for these purposes, and need something that is modern, professional and not cartoonish.
Colors are good but we do need something that will work on a variety of mediums like web sites, printed materials, product manuals, etc. Preferably no more that 2 colors in the design. We need a B&W version included as well for news print.
We would like to have final art delivered as original layered illustrator or Photoshop files using vector graphics so we can resize things as necessary. Also would like a spliced html template with all images.
Any fonts used will need to be identified so we can obtain them.
We would like something professional looking. Think "warm corporate." We would like something "touchy-feely" yet shows confidence and reliability.
